As many of you may know PCSO Rachel Wood has left the local force and, to date, has not been replaced – although recruitment is ongoing.

There are, however, several ways in which you can contact the Skipton police for non-emergency issues.

• There is a new online reporting facility on the North Yorkshire Police website: https://www.northyorkshire.police.uk
• Send an email to: snacraven@northyorkshire.police.uk
• You can continue to use the “101” phone number to report an incident via Option 1
• 101 Option 2 allows you to contact a named person directly. At the moment there is no named person for the Parish  – and shift patterns often mean that messages left are not picked up immediately – so use an alternative method if you can. (If you do get their answerphone you need to add the ‘hash’ key at the end of your message to send).
