Hello Everyone.

A big thank you to everyone who contributed to the Art, Craft and Photo Exhibition at Embsay with Eastby Village Institute this weekend. Everyone commented on the variety and the very high standard of exhibits. It was an excellent reflection of the work done locally and the very many talented people there are.

The prize winners were:

I. Barabara Kipling for her picture of hens which she painted during lockdown for one of her grandsons,

2. John Butler’s amazingly detailed dry stone wall pictures.

3. Hilary Broughton’s beautifully illustrated Covid Journal. All very worthy winners! Counting up, I reckon we had about 100 visitors to the exhibition. I had a lot of positive feedback from them. Hopefully we will be having another one in the future without all the regulations.
