Come to the Ceilidh and have fun – Saturday 11th October, 7pm to 10.30pm
Whether you’re an experienced ceilidh dancer or a beginner a ceilidh is for you. With a live ceilidh band and a caller, who explains the steps and walks you through them before the dance starts and then calls the steps to you as you go, everyone can get stuck in. Not only that ceilidh dancing is one of the most enjoyable forms of exercise – you can burn up to 400 calories in an hour or more whilst working every muscle in your body. Apparently, an hour’s ceilidh dancing is as effective as a circuit session in the gym! And if you’re not feeling up to dancing every dance sitting out and watching everyone and listening to the music is uplifting.
Tickets are available now at the village shop or by ringing Liz 07810 200202. As there’s food involved, and we want to make sure that’s enough for everyone, please book your tickets.
