Embsay Railway Station is amongst several Yorkshire filming locations featured in Frances O’Connor’s debut film Emily, which was released yesterday. The critically acclaimed film stars Emma Mackey as Emily, Alexandra Dowling as Charlotte, Amelia Gething as Anne and depicts the brief life of Wuthering Heights author Emily Brontë.

For fans of location spotting – also look out for shots in Skipton, The Mason’s Arms at Appletreewick, and Broughton Hall.
