The Village Fete Committee is looking to run a new Embsay Fell Race as part of the fete on Saturday 15th July, to continue the development of the fete.

This follows the decision by BOFRA not to run the traditional September fell race anymore.

The intention would be to start and finish in the fete field below the church, run through the fields next to the Kirk, and then up the crag through Clarkson’s fields.

The number of races, and age groups, would be dependent on levels of interest received. Lots of marshalls and helpers would also be required.
