Many thanks to Councillor David Noland (North Yorkshire Locality Budget) and to Embsay with Eastby Parish Council for funding this replacement Public Notice Board, at the Skipton Road/Brackenley Lane Bus Stop. Thanks also to two Good Neighbours volunteers for fixing it. 

The old notice board had become damp and had been vandalised last year.  The new one is maintenance free but its upkeep is the responsibility of the community.

It will remain unlocked so that people can fix their notices using drawing pins  (NO STAPLES PLEASE!).  To use just open the front cover carefully from the bottom, fix your notice and then close firmly but gently to keep the rain out,  As before preference will be given to local events, & A5 size notices are especially welcome! Please remove your notice after the event.
