Hello everyone!

I hope you have all enjoyed the summer holidays. I had the pleasure of meeting the year six children just before the end of term and what a credit they are. I wish them good luck now they are moving on to secondary school. I also met some of the lovely children at the after school club too.

It has been lovely to patrol Embsay and Eastby when the weather has been warmer but don’t worry, I will still be out and about when the weather turns cooler and rainy: I have my fleece and waterproofs at the ready!

It is great to see that the Community Speed Watch is back up and running again and that life is slowly starting to return to normal. When you see me, please don’t hesitate to come and have a chat.

I am happy to answer enquiries by email but please report any crimes to 101 or 999. Also Crime Stoppers if you wish to remain anonymous. You can do this online at www.crimestoppers-uk.org or by calling 0800 555 111. Rachel.Wood1@northyorkshire.pnn.police.uk
