Hello, I hope you are all well and are ready for Christmas. I also hope everybody has a restful one, whatever your plans are. I am currently compiling the police incident report for 2021 for the Parish Council and will have that submitted by the end of the month.

It has been my first full year looking after Embsay and Eastby and I feel very privileged to have a beautiful area to look after. I have met lots of lovely people and would like to say thank you for making me feel so welcome. I am looking forward to next year and hopefully I will be able to visit more groups and become more involved in the community.

I have added some crime prevention advice that is centered around Christmas time. If you have any concerns, please don’t hesitate to get in touch but please remember that I cannot record crimes via email. I look forward to updating you again in the new year.
