Do come along today Saturday 25th March 2-5pm to the Village Hall in Embsay. Your Community Library and the Fairtrade group are hosting an Environmental awareness event. There will be something for all the family including Stories in the library, crafts in the supper room and the playgroup is also open for activities for little ones.

Our guest speaker at 2.30pm is Professor Rick Batterbee retired lecturer in Environmental change, chair of Addingham Environmental Action Group and leading a citizen science group on the River Wharfe. We are showcasing what local groups are already doing and reflecting on what more we can do.

Home made cakes and refreshments are being served all afternoon.
