North Yorkshire has higher rates of fuel poverty compared to the national average, and particularly in rural areas.

There is support available through the Warm and Well Service who can offer advice to households, help with energy switching, signpost to home upgrade measures and access to emergency fuel vouchers. The service can also provide training and awareness raising sessions to professionals.
