Next week on 6^th August and 7^th August – Waste Not Wednesday and Takeaway Thursday, 3pm to 6pm

Making space for something new?  Can’t resist a bargain? Enjoy crafting? Don’t like waste? Looking for something different to entertain the children/grandchildren that’s free? YES,  then drop off up to four items that are easily carried and are in good condition at the Methodist Church Hall on Main Street at any time between 3pm and 6pm on Wednesday 6^th August. It’s all happening the following day when all the items received will be on display, there’ll be refreshments, craft activities for all ages using waste, scrap and natural materials and whether you donated items or not you’ll be able to choose one or two items to take away.

‘Waste not want not’ was frequently quoted by parents and grandparents who lived through the war years and is a necessity in many parts of the world today. Let’s do the same and have fun at the same time!
