Changes To ParcelForce Collections & Deliveries

This article is available in audio format, please click on the play icon below to listen.

From Monday 26th June Royal Mail will take over all ParcelForce collections and from Tuesday 27th June, all ParcelForce deliveries.

This is for the BD23 and 24 postcode areas only. You will no longer see your regular ParcelForce driver, it will be a Royal Mail postie from either Skipton, Grassington or Settle.

Everything you do when using ParcelForce will not change, it’s just who collects and delivers it.

When we attempt delivery to your property, if you’re not in, we will take it back to the office and try again the next working day. If you are still out when we try again and if there’s one nearby, we may leave it at the Post Office for you to collect from. We will post a ParcelForce card through your letterbox, to inform you this is what we have done.

If we have not taken it to a Post Office, we will take it back to the Royal Mail office, you can then arrange a redelivery or you can collect from the office when we are open.

Monday to Friday 8am to 10am
Saturday 8am to 12pm

Please note – Only ParcelForce items will be left at the Post Office after the 2nd attempt. Royal Mail items, you would need to request a delivery to the Post Office for collection.
