What a beautiful clear and sunny autumn day on Sunday after the stormy Friday…. a perfect day for caring for our locality.

First of all a big thank you to the big group of litter pickers who collected on Sunday morning and included two children with their mums. Thank you Lily May and Rupert… great to see the younger generation getting involved. Some of us enjoyed drinks afterwards in the Paper Shop garden. Thanks for the biscuits Raj.

Looking forward to the spring up at Holme Grown Community garden as volunteers were out planting bulbs on Sunday afternoon in the orchard. Can’t wait to see them looking beautiful in the spring. Great sense of caring for our community all round.
