Two Saturdays into the new season and not a ball has been bowled by either team – unlike last year when only one game out of 44 was cancelled! Under the scoring system used by the Nidderdale League both sides have 16 points. This coming Saturday the 1stXI makes the short journey down the road to take on Bolton Abbey 2nds. What one would call a local derby. The 2ndXI entertain Thirsk 3rds with the match ball sponsored by Paul Barwick and Scott Robinson Electrical.
