The cricket club is deeply saddened to receive the news of the passing of their president, Ian Armstrong.

Ian has been our president for 16 years, taking over from Michael Hargreaves. He has been in America for quite a while and has not had the best of health for some time.

The club has lost a staunch supporter and friend. Our flag will be at half mast on the pavilion until after Ian’s funeral and a minute silence will take place at our next match on Saturday.
