From there the other five batsmen all reached double figures. Our reply was stuttering a bit at 49 for 3. Ben Jolly was joined by skipper Nathan Barrett, and the pair had a stunning partnership of 156 before the former was out for a career best of 82. We needed 44 off 5 overs, 30 of 3 then 14 of 13 balls and 8 off 12 balls. Nathan had been joined by his son, Hayden, who then crashed two fours to get us over the line with nine balls to spare. In hitting those fours, he had denied his dad of making a century. Nathan was 94 not out (8×4, 3×6) at the close.
We move up one spot to sixth.
