Hazel Chatwin’s 90th birthday celebration was held in the village hall on 15th October for friends and villagers.

The request for no presents just donations in aid of Sue Ryder Manorlands Hospice at Oxenhope raised a fabulous £520!

A message from Nicola and Chris (Hazel’s grandson and wife) who did the catering:

We took what was left from the buffet to the Church on the Street in Burnley, there was literally 100 people there who were so grateful for the food, the children were flocking around the cakes. They sent a message to say thank you and that all the food would be used and nothing would be wasted.
