North Yorkshire Council is consulting now on a proposed new home to school travel policy for North Yorkshire to ensure compliance with new statutory guidance. The consultation stage draft of the proposed new policy constitutes a significant re-write of the current policy to more closely align with the language, style and content of the guidance.

As part of the process there is an on-line questionnaire which has to be completed by the 12^th April 2024 and this can be accessed via the webpage mentioned above. In addition, NYC are running a series of face-to-face events with one in Skipton being held on the 18^th March from 1.30pm until 2.30pm.
