How? Right now in Gaza Christian Aid is working with trusted local partners providing medical and community-led relief such as food, water, shelter, and sanitation. Christian Aid is also providing trauma based psychological assistance in Israel.
Christian Aid has many long-term development projects too. For example, helping some of the world’s most vulnerable communities adapt to climate change, regardless of their faith or nationality.
A simple way of helping others who are living with poverty is to choose Fairtrade products whenever we can and there will be a Fairtrade stall selling gifts from local Fairtrade businesses (Whitakers Chocolates, Namaste and From the Source) and grocery items from ethical companies (Cafedirect, Zaytoun, Faith in Nature and True Origin to name a few).
