North Yorkshire was the hottest place in the UK on Saturday. It was a perfect weekend for village fetes, cricket matches, train rides, walking, cycling, gardening, or just pottering about soaking up the sun (carefully!) and all the other wonderful activities our little part of the world has to offer.
