Between the night of Thursday 16th and the morning of Saturday 18th of January, Embsay Steam Railway was broken into and a large amount of damage was made to the premises.

If anybody witnessed anything unusual during this time period or has any CCTV that may help with the investigation, please do get in contact with North Yorkshire Police quoting reference number NYP-18012025-0123

Also between the 16th and 23rd January, a burglary occurred at the Bolton Abbey steam railway. A number of tools and specialist railway equipment has been stolen from within. If you have seen or heard anything please phone 101 quoting Ref NYP-23012025-0115.
