If you have a free day over this Bank Holiday, Embsay and Bolton Abbey Steam Railway are celebrating the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Weekend with a Royal train! Embsay & Eastby Village passes are valid for this event.

Our first class vintage carriages are ready to welcome you on board, and you can enjoy a peaceful ride through the Yorkshire Dales over the Jubilee Bank Holiday weekend.

We also have our very special Queen Victoria Golden Jubilee Saloon out for service, a carriage Queen Victoria herself travelled on many years ago! After being lovingly restored by Stately Trains, we are now serving delicious afternoon teas on board this magical carriage. A perfect way to celebrate the Jubilee Bank Holiday. 

Our tea rooms will be open serving refreshments and snacks. 

All tickets are round trips, however if you want to split up your journey and walk to Bolton Abbey, then please request this at the ticket office on arrival.
