Skipton Physiotherapy practice provides help during lockdown

With years of experience in private practice, True Physio was born out of the desire to create a group of clinics that would help people live the lives they love by providing Physiotherapy “properly” as they would put it, putting their customers and staff first.

Over this difficult period of lock-down they have continued to help their patients, including several Embsay and Eastby residents. They opened their diary to make online video appointments available for people who found they needed help but had to isolate or were shielding. They added free 15min online assessments to the diary in case people needed advice and were unsure if they needed a trip to the clinic. They understood that many people were a little wary of leaving the safety of home in the middle of a pandemic and they worked to accommodate this best they could. The clinic continues to follow all covid safe precautions and procedures but have kept the option to book an online consultation and free assessments for anyone who prefers.

Before lockdown, they were also available at the parents group held at Embsay with Eastby Village Hall to give invaluable advice to pregnant mums and new mums regarding issues they have been having with pain, sleeping and everything in between. They will be continuing to do this and popping in to New Beginnings (the new parent group held in the village hall on a Wednesday morning). And to top it all off, as we well know Embsay and Eastby has a great number of resident dogs living with their humans, True Physio are happy for their patients to bring their dogs to appointments.
