Not sure who to contact about an issue in our community?

While Embsay with Eastby Parish Council is able to help with some local matters, many issues are the responsibility of other organisations, such as North Yorkshire Council, the police, utility companies or other local services.

The Parish Council have put together some information to help you find the right organisation or service to contact. Whether you need to report a problem, raise a concern, request assistance or find out more about a particular issue, you’ll find links and contact details for the relevant organisation on a new webpage. Please report issues directly to the organisation responsible wherever possible. This helps ensure that your report reaches the correct team and can be logged and dealt with promptly.
