The Swing City Big Band once again entertained an enthusiastic audience at St Mary’s Church, Embsay with Eastby, on Saturday 2 March.
The concert was organised to raise money for the church’s ‘Cut the Carbon’ project which aims to replace the gas boiler with electric heating to reduce the church’s carbon footprint.
The band played a varied selection of big band music, from the age of Glenn Miller to the present day and were joined by singer Matt Whatley.
The concert was sold out and raised over £1000 for church funds.
The Swing City Big Band will be performing at Settle Victoria Hall on Saturday 6 April.
