We are very excitedly making preparations for our Family Environment Awareness day next week Saturday 20th April 2-4pm in Embsay Village Hall and hope to see lots of you there.

Just a reminder of a few things:

Bring along your empty plastic bottles as you’ll have chance to refill them from Silsden refills with shampoo, conditioner, laundry liquid, washing-up liquid, hand soap, toilet cleaner and surface cleaner.

2. Bring along any unwanted seeds and swap them for something you’d like to grow.
3. Take part in the family competition to make something out of something recycled…prizes to win. Must fit on A3 size paper.
4. Bring along something small you’d like to repair or have a go at sewing on buttons and darning and learn how you can recycle items to make something new at our Make Do and Mend Workshop with our skilled Volunteers.
5. Mark on a map at our event any hedgehog sightings as they come out of hibernation. Keep a lookout in your gardens and tell us about it.
