On behalf of Trevor’s children – Beverley, Alistair and Debbie – it is with sadness that we report the passing of Trevor Nash, peacefully in his sleep and at home, last Wednesday morning, aged 83.

Trevor and Marian came to Eastby in 1967, raising their family there and becoming active members of the local community. Trevor taught at Skipton Girls High School whilst Marian taught part-time at Embsay School. Trevor was interested in all sports and was a keen skier, organising ski trips at school and within Embsay with Eastby. More recently he would watch Embsay CC and was a very keen follower of Wharfedale RUFC. He boasted an excellent garden at home and was a frequent winner, and then subsequently a judge, at the village Horticultural shows back in the 80’s and 90’s

Trevor Nash’s funeral will be Friday 17th December at 10am at Skipton Crematorium and afterwards all welcome at 14-16 Kirk Lane, Eastby. The service will also be live streamed. If anyone would like the link please contact James Tiffany via the Embsay Update Facebook Page
