Mary passed away peacefully on 3rd November 2024, at her home in Embsay. Loving daughter of the late James (Jimmy Milk) and Gladys, kind and caring sister, auntie and great-auntie, and a good and selfless friend to many.

Mary lived in the cottage at Manby Castle as a child before moving into the village in 1950 when she was 14, and remained there until her passing aged 88.

Her funeral service will take place at St. Mary’s Church, Embsay on Tuesday 26th November at 1.00pm followed by cremation at 2.30pm in Skipton. Family flowers only please, donations if desired to Embsay and Eastby Good Neighbours, which can be left at the funeral service and Howcrofts.
